Job Description

The job involves meeting business objectives set by the respective country Retail Client Business through a customer-focused, needs-based selling approach. It requires deepening customer relationships, maximizing penetration, achieving personal sales targets, and focusing on customer needs-based selling. The role also involves meeting new customers daily to promote Asset, Liability & Wealth Products, and assisting in implementing promotions and activities for new customer acquisition. Additionally, the job requires monitoring competitor sales activities and effectively countering their efforts. Ensuring adherence to all internal and external regulations, embedding Operational Risk monitoring in business processes, and complying with Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance are crucial aspects of the role. Building a transparent and collaborative culture, where incentives are based on specific performance metrics aligned with the Bank's values, is also essential. Key responsibilities include diligently conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD), MLP & TCF, maintaining zero tolerance for fraud and mis-selling, attending training sessions to acquire knowledge relevant to the job function, and complying with policies, guidelines, procedures, and local regulatory requirements. The job also involves promoting a compliance-focused environment, displaying exemplary conduct aligned with the Group's Values and Code of Conduct, and taking personal responsibility for embedding high ethical standards. Skills and experience required for the role include client acquisition, market knowledge, appointing and handling DSA Channel, revenue generation, meeting sales targets, and possessing legal and technical knowledge in client onboarding. Candidates must be graduates, with MBAs considered advantageous, and have at least 1 year of sales experience in the Retail Banking Industry, especially in Home Loans, Wealth, and Savings Accounts. Possessing relevant certifications and strong communication and negotiation skills is preferred. Competencies such as being action-oriented, customer-focused, collaborative, managing ambiguity, developing talent, driving vision & purpose, and demonstrating decision quality and courage are critical for success in this role. The job also requires technical competencies to evaluate candidates on role-specific technical skills and requirements.
