Sr. Business Analyst

As a Sr. Business Analyst at La FreightLift, you will be responsible for various key functions within the organization. Your primary role will involve conducting system functional studies, providing IT-production functional support, and designing and building new functional design templates, screens, wireframes, and functionalities on supported systems. Your expertise will be crucial in solving organizational information problems and needs through the identification and analysis of requirements, as well as the creation of project and process specifications. You will be expected to work on process improvements and complex projects, identifying both business and system requirements, and creating project and process specifications for new or enhanced systems. By facilitating interaction with the business unit, you will drive quantifiable results and provide support in solving a variety of complex system and system-related problems. Collaboration with technology peers will be essential in ensuring alignment with business requirements and technology aspects, including design, development, or implementation of systems. Your role will also involve gathering business information and supporting its incorporation into project plans under the guidance of the project lead. It will be crucial for you to provide timely updates, accurate documents, and effective communication throughout the change life-cycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for requirement gathering, developing business requirement specifications, acquiring new information for various modules, and acting as a liaison between the business and technical teams. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in the field, with a strong expertise in Freight Forwarding and Airport/Ocean Cargo domains. Experience in reporting functions for at least 3 years, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, will be highly beneficial. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, interpersonal skills, and effective decision-making abilities are essential for this role. You must also demonstrate the ability to collaborate and work efficiently with peers, staff, and business partners. Moreover, sound knowledge of Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Air Cargo, and Ocean Cargo domains is a prerequisite for this position. Proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to conduct product demonstrations to the business team using domain terminologies will be key aspects of your responsibilities.
