Sr. Branch Manager

Job Description

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service, driving business growth, managing the branch team, and ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, financial knowledge, and experience in cooperative society or financial institution operations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning and customer satisfaction Drive the sale of liability products such as Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Shares, and other cooperative schemes Promote and manage Gold Loans and Chitty schemes, ensuring timely disbursement and recovery Achieve branch business targets for deposits, loans, and new memberships Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, local stakeholders, and community members Monitor team performance and ensure regular training and motivation of branch staff Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with audit standards, and timely reporting to Head Office Handle customer queries and grievances professionally and effectively Maintain strong internal controls and ensure security of cash and valuables Initiate local marketing activities and awareness programs to promote society products Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in branch banking, cooperative society, NBFC, or similar institution Proven leadership and people management skills Knowledge of cooperative society operations, financial products, and rural banking is preferred Good communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Office and basic accounting software --- Key Skills: Team Leadership Business Development Customer Relationship Management Sales & Target Achievement Operational Excellence Compliance & Documentation Financial Awareness Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Fixed shift Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Performance bonus Work Location: In person Speak with the employer +91 9645129555
