Job Title: Gynaec Duty Medical Officer (DMO) Location: Madinaguda, Hyderabad Qualification: MBBS (Mandatory Preferred); BAMS acceptable if MBBS not available Department: Obstetrics & Gynaecology Reports To: Consultant Gynaecologist / Medical Superintendent Shift Type: Rotational (Day/Night) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Gynaec Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide round-the-clock support in our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The DMO will be responsible for initial patient assessment, assisting senior consultants, managing emergencies, and ensuring high-quality patient care for both inpatient and outpatient departments. Key Responsibilities: Perform initial assessment of gynaecological and obstetric patients in the OPD/IPD/ER. Monitor and manage inpatients under the guidance of the consultant . Assist in conducting deliveries, minor procedures , and during surgeries. Handle emergency cases such as labour pains, bleeding, and other obstetric emergencies. Maintain accurate patient records , case notes, and medical charts. Ensure timely communication with the consultant on patient progress and complications. Respond promptly to patient calls and coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff. Carry out prescribed investigations, follow up on reports, and ensure continuity of care. Assist in pre-op/post-op care, discharge summaries, and patient counselling. Follow hospital protocols, infection control standards, and medical ethics. Eligibility Criteria: MBBS from a recognized university with valid registration (preferred). BAMS with strong clinical experience in OBG if MBBS not available. Freshers may apply, but preference will be given to those with prior experience in gynaec departments . Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night duties .
