About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development using Python and FastAPI, with a solid understanding of RESTful services, database design, and system architecture. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI and Python.

Work with MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Write shell scripts and automate server-side tasks on Linux environments.

Maintain and monitor server infrastructure including basic GCP operations.

Implement secure and scalable microservices and backend architecture.

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.

Integrate with third-party platforms and protocols such as MQTT (Pub/Sub) and Firebase.

Handle TCP and HTTP protocol implementations and debugging.

Follow and implement best practices in OOPs, code versioning using Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.

Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Hands-on experience with MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, schema design).

Familiarity with Linux shell scripting for automation and server management.

Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Understanding of MQTT protocol, Firebase integrations, and Pub/Sub messaging.

Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.

Good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.

Familiar with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, etc.).

Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.

Basics of Node JS

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with real-time systems or IoT-based applications.

Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
