Sr. Backend AWS Cloud Developer

Senior Backend AWS Cloud Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs
using
AWS serverless technologies
Work extensively with
AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and API Gateway
Build
highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications
Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Collaborate with
DevOps teams
to support
CI/CD pipelines
and automation frameworks
Ensure
best practices in cloud security, performance optimization, and cost efficiency
Participate in
code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
Work closely with
cross-functional teams
to deliver high-quality solutions

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
, preferably on
AWS
Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless services
:
Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API Gateway
In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts
including
IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools
such as
Terraform or CloudFormation
3+ years of experience developing backend applications and APIs
Strong backend development experience in Node.js (mandatory and first preference)

Java can be considered as an alternative
3+ years of experience in enterprise-scale AWS environments
Hands-on experience with DevOps automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills

AWS Cloud Certifications
(Nice to have)
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in deliverables
Ability to prioritize tasks independently and meet critical deadlines
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Good written communication skills
Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
