Sr Associate

As an Audit Senior Associate at RSM, you will be providing timely, high-quality client service as a part of client engagement teams serving large and small companies across various industries. Building strong working relationships, you will work closely with teams to understand and address clients" complex business challenges. Your responsibilities will include understanding clients" needs, business, and industry, developing expertise in the RSM audit approach, and performing audit procedures in accordance with the firm's methodology. You will be responsible for identifying areas of risk and accounting issues, researching technical accounting matters, and preparing audit reports and management letters. Exercising professional skepticism and judgment, you will ensure compliance with the firm's quality standards while working collaboratively with RSM audit professionals. Additionally, you will provide supervision and development training for associates, take ownership of tasks, and deliverables, ensuring service excellence through prompt responses to clients. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's in Commerce/MBA, be a Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA, and have 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and audit. Strong technical skills in accounting, including IFRS, as well as excellent verbal and written communication in English are essential. Experience in Non-Assurance services (PCR) and strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, are preferred.
