Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Accountant to join our reputable construction company in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting practices and a strong understanding of financial regulations. The Sr. Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting principles and regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
Perform audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
Oversee tax preparation and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4-12 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
