Sr. Accountant

As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include managing all accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, and ensuring timely publication of financial statements. You will be tasked with handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as computing taxes and preparing tax returns. Additionally, you will manage balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and report on the company's financial health and liquidity. Auditing financial transactions and documents will also be part of your role, along with reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups as needed. It is essential to comply with financial policies and regulations at all times. To excel in this role, you should have work experience as an Accountant and possess excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks is crucial, along with advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables. Familiarity with general ledger functions, strong attention to detail, and good analytical skills are also necessary. A BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field is preferred. This is a full-time position with benefits such as paid sick time and a performance bonus. The job requires day shift availability and may necessitate relocation to Ludhiana, Punjab. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, Tally, and overall work is required. A CA-Inter certification is also necessary for this role.
