Sr. Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at our company in Agra, you will play a crucial role in our growing finance team. Your responsibilities will include: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, and prepare reports accordingly. - Assist in the creation of budgets and forecasts, and conduct variance analysis with insightful commentary. - Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and credit analysis. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and posting transactions accurately. You will also assist in tax compliance by preparing and filing various tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax laws. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard financial records" accuracy and integrity. Managing import/export accounting activities, including reconciliations, landed cost calculations, and compliance with regulations, will also be part of your duties. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, and a strong understanding of GAAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role. You may also be required to participate in special projects, provide support to the finance team members, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting deadlines. The salary for this position is between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work. The expected start date is 07/04/2025.,
