Sr. Accountant

Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant at Cosben Engineering Pvt. Ltd., your role will involve overseeing the financial tasks of the company. This includes preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, performing budgeting and forecasting, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Key Responsibilities: - Take overall control of the company's accounting function - Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end journals, work papers, and reconciliations - Prepare GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, MEIS credits, Customs, etc. in a timely and accurate manner to meet regulatory requirements - Identify errors and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, spending, and current processes - Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations - Collaborate with the Financial Manager - Plan, assign, and review the work of staff - Keep abreast of tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance Qualifications: - Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, and Budgeting - Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or relevant certification is a plus,
