Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing new components for upcoming projects at the plant level, starting from supplier technical discussions to APQP & PPAP, as well as handling complaints of parts in serial production. Key Responsibilities: - Manage incoming inspections effectively. - Monitor supplier performance closely. - Review and release Supplier PPAP. - Handle Change Management efficiently. - Address part quality issues of suppliers and monitor action plans using various quality tools. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of IATF/TS16949 and core tools like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA. - Proficient in various Problem Solving Techniques. - Familiarity with different manufacturing processes such as Molding, Stamping Rubber, etc. - Conduct Process Audits including System Audit, Process Audit, VDA Audit, etc. - Manage costs related to Supplier Part Quality. - Coordinate effectively to resolve issues between the Plant and Supplier. - Drive suppliers aggressively to meet automotive requirements. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: B.E in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - 10 to 12 years of work experience in the Automotive Industry. - Preferably, a significant portion of work experience in Supplier Quality or Quality profiles. - Ability to take complete ownership of assigned work area and execute all related tasks proactively.
