The position involves the development of new components for upcoming projects at the plant level, starting from supplier technical discussions to APQP & PPAP, as well as handling complaints of parts in serial production. Your key responsibilities include managing incoming inspections, monitoring supplier performance, reviewing and releasing supplier PPAPs, effectively handling change management, addressing part quality issues of suppliers, monitoring action plans using various quality tools, possessing in-depth knowledge of IATF/TS16949 and other core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, understanding various problem-solving techniques, being familiar with different manufacturing processes like molding, stamping, rubber, conducting process audits like System Audit, Process Audit, VDA Audit, managing supplier part quality-related costs, coordinating and managing issues between the plant and suppliers, and driving suppliers aggressively to meet automotive requirements. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, along with 10 to 12 years of work experience in the automotive industry. A significant portion of your work experience should be in Supplier Quality or Quality profiles. You should have the capability to take complete ownership of the assigned work area and execute all related tasks with a proactive approach.
