Position Overview:

SQL Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Design & Architecture:

  Lead the design and architecture of SQL databases to meet business and analytics requirements. Define database structures, tables, relationships, and indexes for optimized performance.

• SQL Query Optimization:

  Analyze and fine-tune SQL queries for high performance. Implement indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies to enhance query efficiency.

• ETL Development:

  Work with data engineers to design and develop efficient ETL processes. Create SQL scripts and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.

• Data Validation & Quality Assurance:

  Implement data validation and QA processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data. Identify and resolve anomalies in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Performance Monitoring & Tuning:

  Monitor database health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries and configurations for improved system performance.

• Documentation & Best Practices:

  Maintain database schemas, data models, and SQL scripts documentation. Define SQL coding standards and enforce data governance policies.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  Provide technical guidance to SQL developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Security & Compliance:

  Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• 610 years of hands-on experience in SQL development and database management.
  
• Expertise in

  SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL

  with a strong command of writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in

  ETL design and development

  using SQL scripts or relevant tools.
• Experience in

  Python

  for data manipulation or automation is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of

  database design principles

  , normalization, and indexing strategies.
• Experience in the

  Healthcare or RCM domain

  is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
