Sql Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development & Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and database schema design.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency across various databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor database health and proactively identify and address potential issues.

• Technology Proficiency:

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with database platforms such as 

  DB2

   and 

  MySQL

  .
• Possess working knowledge of 

  Python

   for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks related to database operations.
• Understand and apply data modeling principles and best practices.

• Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with and manage relationships with external vendors providing database-related services or tools.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Participate in vendor selection and onboarding processes as required.

• Business User Management & Collaboration:

• Work closely with business users to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to business users on data-related queries and issues.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Gather requirements, provide feedback, and ensure that database solutions meet business needs.

• Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to established documentation standards.

• Compliance & Security:

• Adhere to data privacy and security policies and procedures.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and industry best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the database environment.
