You'll be a vital part of our team, combining your passion for sport with a natural sense of service to create an exceptional experience for our customers, both in-store and online.

You'll work autonomously and collaboratively to manage your sport's department, ensuring our customers find the right products to practice their passion. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience:

    Deliver a "WOW" experience by greeting, engaging, and advising customers. Share your personal sports experiences and product knowledge to help them make informed decisions and find the best solution for their needs.
  • Omnichannel Sales:

    Actively promote and sell our products and services (including new, used, rental, and subscription options) across all channels—in-store, online, and via social media.
  • Merchandising & Inventory:

    Take ownership of your sport's department. Ensure products are well-stocked, priced correctly, and displayed in a visually appealing and engaging way. Maintain accurate stock levels to support a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Community Building:

    Inspire customers to join sports communities and encourage them to participate in Decathlon-hosted events and local sporting activities.
  • Team Collaboration:

    Work as part of a dynamic, like-minded team. Support your colleagues and contribute to a positive, energetic, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • A clear passion for and practice of one or more sports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You love connecting with people and building relationships.
  • A high sense of service with a customer-first mindset.
  • Resourceful and adaptable, with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Digitally competent and comfortable with using apps and digital tools to enhance the customer experience.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not essential.
