Specialist SAP Architect, Accounting

Roles & Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture:

  Design and architect

  SAP S/4HANA Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)

  solutions, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems, and maintaining high standards for scalability, performance, and security.

• Business Collaboration:

  Work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and translate them into precise technical specifications.

• System Configuration:

  Oversee the system build and configuration of

  SAP S/4HANA

  solutions to ensure alignment with business goals and leading industry practices.

• Risk Management:

  Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to proactively identify potential risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.

• Agile Development:

  Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within a

  Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  to deliver and maintain the

  S/4HANA

  ecosystem.

• Innovation:

  Develop innovative solutions that leverage

  AI/ML

  and advanced control practices to drive speed and value for the business.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree with relevant SAP experience, or a Master's degree with proven experience, or a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience, or a Diploma with a substantial background in SAP.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and building

  SAP S/4HANA

  Accounts Payable solutions, particularly

  Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)

  .
• A demonstrable understanding of

  Procure to Pay

  and accounting business processes, including experience with disbursement processes like

  SAP payment processing

  .
• A strong understanding of

  US GAAP

  and/or

  IFRS

  is essential.
• Experience with

  SAP Ariba Procure to Pay

  solutions and familiarity with

  Agile

  methodologies (

  Scrum, Kanban

  ) are a plus.
• A relevant

  SAP S/4HANA certification

  is preferred.
