Job Title: Specialist- Life Cycle Assessment Summary: The Life Cycle Assessment Specialist will support Corporate Sustainability group in conducting life cycle assessments of products and processes to identify and quantify the environmental impacts associated with each stage of our products life, thereby elevate sustainability in Momentive towards our vision of providing Solutions for a Sustainable WorldTM. In this highly visible role, the expert will collaborate with stakeholders to develop tools, compile and interpret data, and communicate the LCA results to clients and stakeholders, both internal and external to Momentive. This position is responsible for LCA support for all Business Segments and functions. Responsibilities Include: Lead and oversee the development and execution of comprehensive life cycle assessments (LCA) of Momentive s products and processes. Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients, driving environmental impact reduction initiatives across the product lifecycle. Collaborate with the Sustainability Strategy Leader and cross-functional teams to design/identify, enhance, implement and maintain advanced tools, methodologies, and automation solutions for LCA (e.g., Excel models, commercial LCA software). Ensure these tools are scalable and enable efficient analysis of environmental impacts. Provide Insights on the environmental performance of products and processes for generating improvements and to facilitate decision making. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in LCA methodologies, sustainability standards, and regulations. Proactively monitor and evaluate emerging trends, ensuring Momentive s practices remain at the forefront of industry developments and compliance requirements. Attend to any other data handling/management support as requested by stakeholders. Deliver periodic reporting for various user groups, as requested. Exert influence on the organization s overall objectives by aligning projects and insights with long-term strategic goals, contributing to Momentives vision for sustainability and innovation. Work independently in handling and resolving queries from business in a timely manner. Qualifications: The following are required for the role Bachelors or Masters in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fields. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the chemical industry. Higher degrees will be considered in lieu of industry experience. Experience with LCA assessments and reporting, including knowledge of current tools and trends; LCA verification agencies Able to work effectively in an international cultural environment. Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams etc.) Strong analytical skills and the ability to read and analyze complex data. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written, and explain technical concepts or innovations to technical and non-technical employees.
