Job Description

As a dedicated employee at MetLife in Jaipur, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies. Your responsibilities will include processing salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions, as well as preparing and uploading bank files and accrual files. You will be tasked with generating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the finance department and other relevant departments. Additionally, you will be involved in developing, amending, improving, and maintaining policies, procedures, workflows, and RACI in compliance with internal agreements and local laws. Your role will also entail preparing and communicating salary break-up calculators and ensuring the periodic release of employee communications. You will provide support to the Benefits Administrator by managing employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Coordinating benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations with employees and vendors will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with benefits-related legal requirements and promptly responding to employee and stakeholder queries/reports related to employee benefits administered by the C&B team are essential aspects of your role. You will also assist the Benefits Admin team with the preparation, amendment, improvement, upkeep, and maintenance of policies, procedures, workflows, and RACI in line with internal agreements and local laws. Staying updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, managing budgets effectively, and coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless operations and project execution will be key components of your leadership and compliance responsibilities. You will also collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and others to ensure adequate budget and balance in Purchase Orders (POs) and help in identifying and laying out requirements and operating principles for new vendors. Maintaining effective communication between vendors and MetLife and ensuring the on-time and accurate processing of vendor invoices will be critical to your success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in any stream or a diploma with a minimum of 3 years of education, along with 6-8 years of relevant experience. Advanced knowledge of MS Office suites, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint, and proficiency in analyzing situations and reports are necessary technical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
