Roles and responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of Embedded C programming, C compilers, Preprocessors and optimizations, RTOS, OTAs.
  • Understanding of Wireless protocol stacks for connectivity to be able to integrate application firmware with it.

•Strong understanding and experience of a microcontroller-based development environment. MCU - STM32, ARM, ESP32 etc.
  • Hands on experience on Bitbucket and GIT tools.

  • Strong understanding of the test instruments like oscilloscope, logic analysers and good debugging skills. Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging for embedded systems and firmware to ensure the firmware operates efficiently and meets performance and security requirements.

•Understanding of tools like flowchart, block diagrams to represent the firmware design and documenting the same.
  • Understanding of project development cycle and documentation -DFMEA, DVP, Managing firmware ECNs.

  • Basic understanding of hardware blocks

  • Understanding of working with wired ( SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, RS485) and wireless communication protocols (WiFi, BLE)

  • Understanding of different display methods LED, 7SEG, LCD, OLED, GLCD.
