Special Education Teacher

The Special Educator role based in Gurugram and Mohali involves providing personalized support to students with disabilities to help them achieve their academic, social, and emotional potential. As a Special Educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans, delivering one-on-one or group instruction, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of students. Your key responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and reviewing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. You will modify lessons, activities, and assessments to meet diverse student needs, provide direct instruction in various settings, and adapt teaching strategies to support different learning requirements. In addition, you will be implementing behavioral interventions, working on social and emotional skill development, and fostering positive interactions among students. Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to create an inclusive learning environment will also be a crucial aspect of your role. You will regularly assess student progress, adjust teaching methods accordingly, and maintain accurate records of student development. Communication with parents and guardians about their child's progress and providing resources for supporting learning at home will be essential. Moreover, maintaining an organized classroom environment, staying updated with best practices in special education, and participating in professional development activities will contribute to your success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field. Certification in Special Education may be required depending on the location or institution. Previous experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
