Our firm provides middle office services such as Accounting and Finance, Analytics, Banking & Treasury, Compliance, Underwriting, IT, Event and Travel Management etc. to the Artex offices across the world. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Deputy Manager to lead our team in collateral management, wire transfer processing, proforma preparation, feasibility analysis, historical distribution updates, and business intelligence reporting. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, train junior team members, and ensure the teams work aligns with organizational objectives. You will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Collateral Management:

  • Oversee and manage collateral requirements for captive insurance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and report on collateral positions, ensuring adjustments are made as required.

2. Wire Transfer Management:

  • Lead and coordinate wire transfers related to Captives, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain detailed records of wire transfer transactions.

3. Proforma Preparation:

  • Prepare detailed proforma financial statements for Group Captives.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy.

4. Feasibility Analysis:

  • Conduct feasibility studies for new captive insurance programs.
  • Evaluate financial and operational viability of proposed initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

5. Historical Distribution Updates:

  • Ensure historical distribution documents are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather and validate the required information.

6. BI Dashboarding:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of business intelligence dashboards.
  • Manage automation solutions to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Provide insights and reports to assist senior management with decision-making.

7. Team Management & Training:

  • Train junior team members in collateral management, wire transfers, and reporting tasks.
  • Review and verify team members work to ensure accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff on best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or someone who is following certifications for Data Analytics (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate).
  • 3-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services or captive insurance industry.
  • Proven skills in data analysis, reporting, and project management.
  • Experience in mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • A collaborative team player who fosters an empathetic and supportive work environment.
