Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Uttapam, Sambar, Chutney, Rasam, and rice-based items.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Plan menus and suggest new South Indian recipes as per customer preferences and seasonal availability.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
  • Manage raw material requirements, proper storage, and minimize food wastage.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen helpers and junior staff.
  • Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours, especially breakfast service.
  • Control food cost and follow standard recipes and portion control.
  • Handle customer feedback positively and make necessary improvements.
  • Follow hotel/restaurant policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
