Role Overview: You are a highly skilled Sous Chef joining the plant-based bakery team at The Cinnamon Kitchen in Noida. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the cold kitchen operations, specializing in the production of cookies, crackers, cakes, and other plant-based baked goods. Your focus will be on maintaining quality, efficiency, and innovation in plant-based desserts. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily production of cookies, crackers, cakes, and other plant-based baked goods, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes. - Implement efficient production processes, minimize waste, and coordinate with the purchasing team for ingredient delivery. - Supervise, mentor, and train bakers and kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and production standards. - Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, implement proper hygiene practices, and monitor equipment maintenance. - Monitor food costs, collaborate on cost-effective recipes, establish SOPs for efficient production, and contribute to new product development. Qualifications: - Minimum 8 years of experience in high-volume production kitchen. - Proven experience in cold kitchen production (cookies, crackers, cakes). - Strong knowledge of plant-based baking techniques and ingredients. - Certification in food safety and sanitation (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent). - Demonstrated experience in team leadership and performance management. - Excellent organizational, time-management, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. - Experience in cost control, inventory management, and passion for plant-based cuisine.
