Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies to ensure short-term and long-term capacity requirements are met by assessing and validating vendor performance and capabilities. - Manage the sample development process and secure sample proto to SRS (Standard Reference Sample). - Coordinate base testing for fabrics and raw materials, collaborating closely with the Raw Material team for approval. - Conduct or revise cost analysis and negotiate prices with suppliers. - Allocate vendors for products and collaborate with identified vendors effectively. - Work closely with the capacity team to manage production capacity efficiently. - Ensure that sample lead times meet RL standards or exceed expectations. - Obtain necessary approvals before confirming orders and handover to the production team promptly. Experience, Skills & Knowledge: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Merchandising/Sourcing, preferably in a US buying office or a large trading business specializing in outerwear and roughwear. - Profound knowledge of high-end brand products and materials with a strong fashion sense. - Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic business environments while working independently. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage structured processes effectively. - Proficient in PC skills, especially in Excel for analysis, familiar with various systems, charts, and reports. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Fluency in both spoken and written English. - Exposure to multiple brands, calendars, and product categories is preferred.,
