About the Role

Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

  • Deliver sourcing value across Corporate and IT spend categories, including group insurance, operations services, IT services, IT hardware/products, software, consulting, HR, marketing, communications, and finance services.
  • Lead the complete sourcing lifecycle—from requirement gathering, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and final execution.
  • Drive continuous process improvements within procurement operations.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management

  • Identify and manage relationships with internal stakeholders across business units.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to address escalations, clarify requirements, and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Lead stakeholders through sourcing processes, negotiations, and contract execution steps.

Governance & Risk Compliance

  • Support governance activities such as third-party risk assessment, AML screening, financial viability checks, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, technical, financial, and risk policies before deal approvals.

Project & Process Management

  • Apply project management techniques to plan and track sourcing initiatives.
  • Prepare project plans, maintain communication with stakeholders, and ensure on-time completion of sourcing events.
  • Identify procurement issues and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Must Have

  • 5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience

    across diverse spend categories.
  • Expertise in

    sourcing strategy, deal management, contract review, and negotiations

    .
  • Strong stakeholder management with experience working alongside

    legal, compliance, IT security, and finance

    .
  • Familiarity with

    vendor contract language and governance processes

    .
  • Proficiency in

    SAP Ariba (Contracts & Sourcing Modules)

    .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in both independent and team environments.
  • Strong decision-making abilities with comfort in ambiguity.

Preferred

  • Strong

    Excel and financial analysis skills

    .
  • Experience with third-party risk processes in financial/regulated industries.
  • Strong client relationship management and negotiation confidence.
