Description
As a Supply Chain Manager at Zeno for the Proprietary Chassis, your role involves leading end-to-end sourcing, vendor development, and supply chain execution for a next-generation proprietary chassis platform currently under development. This mission-critical position requires you to identify and manage strategic suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery performance for vehicle functional/dynamic components that are vital for our electric motorcycles. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Ownership:** Build and manage the supply chain for proprietary chassis systems, including suspension, brake system, alloy wheels, bearings, tyres, chain drive system, latches, locks, ignition locks, etc. - **Vendor Development:** Identify and qualify global and domestic suppliers with advanced technology and design capabilities. - **Negotiation & Cost Management:** Drive competitive pricing strategies while ensuring adherence to engineering specifications. Evaluate should cost, negotiate, and align with suppliers for optimized BOM cost control. - **Supplier Program Management:** Collaborate with engineering and programs to meet technical and scheduling requirements. Ensure confidentiality and adherence to program schedules. - **Quality & Compliance:** Ensure all proprietary chassis components meet durability, safety, and certification requirements. Manage supplier quality assurance and control processes. - **Risk Mitigation:** Develop dual-sourcing strategies, safeguard IP, and closely monitor supplier activities to identify risks. - **Cross-Functional Alignment:** Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and HOD to ensure chassis supply chain readiness aligns with launch milestones. **Qualifications Required:** - 7-10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement in automotive or allied heavy industries. - Deep expertise in suspension, brakes, and other proprietary functional & dynamic component sourcing. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes. - Experience in setting up and scaling supplier networks for complex parts. - Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Odoo) and advanced supply chain planning tools. - Strong confidentiality orientation and ability to manage sensitive programs. - Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and travel to suppliers when necessary.
