Sourcing manager

As the Sourcing Manager at our company located in Panoli, Gujarat, you will play a crucial role in leading procurement and supplier management activities. Your main responsibilities will include developing and implementing sourcing strategies, identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery standards for critical materials and services. You will be expected to identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers both locally and internationally, monitor supplier performance, collaborate with various teams for sourcing new materials, stay updated on market trends, and manage vendor relationships while driving supplier development initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining procurement documentation, agreements, and data for audits and compliance, as well as working on cost-saving projects and inventory optimization. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred) along with at least 4-8 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing or procurement. Strong negotiation and communication skills, knowledge of vendor management, contract laws, and cost analysis, experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Tally, or Zoho, as well as good analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. Industry experience in Chemicals, Pharma, Manufacturing, FMCG, or Engineering, exposure to global sourcing/import procurement, and knowledge of ISO/GMP/Compliance documentation would be preferred qualifications.
