Sourcing Executive

Job Description

The Sourcing Officer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers for the timely procurement of goods and services at competitive prices. The role involves negotiation, vendor development, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source materials, products, and services based on company requirements.
• Identify and qualify new vendors, ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers including pricing, delivery, and payment conditions.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
• Analyze market trends and suggest cost-saving or quality improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, inventory, finance, etc.) for procurement planning.
• Monitor supplier performance and handle any issues related to quality, delay, or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
• Support the procurement team in audits, reporting, and strategic sourcing projects.
• Minimum 2 years of Experience in Sourcing Main fleet
• Good communication skills
• Coordination with Clients

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good knowledge of sourcing processes, supply chain, and procurement strategies
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
