Role Overview: You will be responsible for proactively identifying, attracting, and sourcing qualified seafarer candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and industry networking. Additionally, you will thoroughly review and screen resumes, conduct comprehensive interviews, and assess candidates based on their qualifications, professional experience, skill sets, and possession of the necessary maritime certifications and endorsements. It will be your duty to ensure that all selected candidates fully comply with relevant maritime regulations, international standards (such as STCW), and company-specific certification requirements before proceeding with employment offers. Moreover, you will efficiently manage the entire onboarding process for new hires, including the verification of all required documents, medical fitness certificates, background checks, and the preparation and management of employment contracts and related formalities. Lastly, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously updating a comprehensive database of qualified and potential seafarers to ensure a ready pool of talent for current and future crewing needs, while tracking certifications, availability, and career progression.
