Sourcing Engineer

You will be responsible for sourcing electronic components, PCBs, hardware, mechanical parts, and other components for the assigned project. Your role will involve coordinating with the Engineering/Design team to ensure timely completion of quotations, analyzing and reviewing quotations, and maintaining close coordination with the sales and purchase teams to achieve departmental targets. Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive prices and favorable terms will be a key part of your duties, aimed at meeting customer targets. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, identifying potential new suppliers, and developing partnerships for new projects will also be essential. Your responsibilities will include ensuring 100% accuracy in prefinalizing each assigned quotation, preparing work reports, and conducting monthly reviews with the department head. You should have good work experience as an Estimation Engineer or Purchase Engineer in an EMS/Electronics company, with strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and understand their requirements. A sound knowledge of the Electronics component supplier base, both local and overseas, and sourcing practices is required. Understanding supply chain procedures, having good analytical skills to create costing reports and conduct price analyses, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Outlook are essential. You are expected to uphold ethical conduct and demonstrate teamworking ability. The role requires 2 to 5 years of work experience and is based in Waghodia, Vadodara. The preferred industry is EMS or Electronics Product Manufacturing, within the Estimation/Sourcing department. A qualification of B.E Electronics is required for this position.,
