Technical Requirements
Core Focus: Sonic Networking OS (SONiC) integration with various platforms and SAIs (Switch Abstraction Interfaces)
SAI Vendors: Broadcom, Cisco SAI, or any other SDK providers
Primary Skills:
Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in community-based SONiC environments
Experience with SONiC SAI is preferred
to candidates with L2/L3 network protocol development experience if SONiC-specific talent is not available
Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker) is important
Trainability: Candidates with strong NOS experience (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) and good debugging skills will be considered even if SONiC-specific exposure is limited
