The Solutions Engineering Team is a high impact team that navigates the technological landscape and creates solutions that address real world business needs. This a closely knit team of highly qualified engineers who are abreast of the latest technology innovations, work with different teams both internal and external and deliver solutions for customers. While technology may sound foremost for this team it is their positive attitude and team work that stands out in the forefront.

Your Impact

As a Solutions Engineer you would work with the Commercial Select Segment in India to understand customers needs and provide collaboration solutions to address these needs. You will orchestrate involvement of all technical activities and resources, holding accountabilities for all opportunities within assigned account(s) and provide architectural perspective across the Cisco product portfolio, including software and services.

Technical sales professional serving as a Technology/Product/Solution consultant.
Technical orchestrator for an array of Cisco resources, primary responsibility for ensuring successful completion of each pitstop from a technical perspective in the lifecycle selling motion.
Provides technical information and design/implementation guidance in concert with Cisco Architecture Seller team(s).
Collaborates with the Account Manager on the customer account plan(s), jointly ensuring customer success.
Work with internal teams to orchestrate right solutions against customer requirements with competitive positioning
Educate customer on Cisco differentiation and establish technical leadership of Cisco as a brand.
Field role that serves as a Technology expert across solutions preferably within a multi-domain architecture approach.
Build relationship with Engineering Teams, field teams, architecture team, Business Units (BUs), Partners and customers.

The India Commercial Select Segment is a truly vibrant sales organization that covers the diverse set of accounts in the Enterprise Space. This position will be based out of Hyderabad and will focus on a specific set of Commercial accounts.

As part of the Commercial SelectSystem Engineering Team, you will be designing, architecting and empowering the strategy for the next generation of communications and application delivery for Indias leading businesses. You'll collaborate as part of a disruptive Sales engineering team. We offer exhilarating, inspiring, global, high impact, and uniquely broad opportunities for your growth.

Minimum Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points

Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent
Excellent written, oral communication, listening skills.
Min 8-12 years of presales experience in technical position.
Cisco products and technologies knowledge about one or more areas like Enterprise Networking, Security, Data centre or Collaboration.
Understand the broad aspects of end to end architecture and have knowledge one or more technology areas
Should be confident in articulating in a customer conversation
Technical knowledge in the Networking Solutions/SDN Architecture/Network Security /Datacentre Networking technologies.
Strong whiteboarding/presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with the Enterprise customers in similar roles.
Technical certifications in any of the areas like Cloud/Security.
