Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer at Checkmarx, you will play a crucial role in supporting sales and business development activities in India and other global regions. Your main responsibility will be to serve as a technical adviser and product expert, collaborating with the Sales team to drive the technology evaluation stage in the sales process. You should excel in articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technically-oriented prospects while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. This role requires self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work both remotely and onsite within India, as well as in additional territories as the company expands. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as a technical adviser and product expert for prospects and customers across the region - Manage and coordinate all technical requirements in the Sales process - Conduct technical demonstrations of the Checkmarx solution in various settings such as face-to-face meetings, conventions, and web sessions - Present the Checkmarx solution to prospects at field events, conferences, seminars, etc. - Address functional and technical elements of RFPs - Communicate customer requirements to the Product Management teams - Design implementation of solutions based on customers" technical requirements **Qualifications Required:** - A passion for learning and growth in a fast-changing industry - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; master's degree and/or CISSP certification preferred - 2-4 years of experience in application/software development with languages like C#, .NET, JAVA, PHP, etc., and familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps tools is advantageous - Prior experience in a customer-facing role and enterprise software Pre-Sales experience or consulting background is desirable - Project management experience is a plus - Technical writing skills are beneficial - Strong teamwork capability, ability to work autonomously, and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical individuals - Background in the software security industry, including penetration testing and code review, is highly preferred - Adaptability and flexibility with a track record of embracing new tools and technologies - Understanding of application security challenges and testing tools - Willingness to travel when necessary and safe to do so At Checkmarx, we offer a dynamic and innovative work environment where you can contribute to securing application development for enterprises globally.
