Solution Factory Manager Jamshedpur

You will be responsible for managing the Solutions Factory in Jamshedpur. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Allocating jobs to the team - Planning inventory - Coordinating outsourced activities - Ensuring delivery deadlines are met - Conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) of failures and customer complaints - Handling documentation including reports, testing, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Daily management of operations - Ensuring safety on the shop floor - Maintaining 5S standards - Engaging and communicating with all stakeholders - Procuring necessary components and services - Providing technical support to the Sales team and end customers - Ensuring adherence to SOPs - Training and developing team members Qualifications required for this role include: - Three or more years of experience in the service segment - Experience in shop floor management - Ability to understand customer urgency and act accordingly - Willingness to travel when necessary - Self-driven with strong product knowledge - Good communication skills - Service mindset In addition, the ideal candidate should have: - 10 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in bearing re-manufacturing - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical) Key interfaces for this role include: - Operation matrices of the solution factory - Profitability of the Solutions Factory delivery - New Business Bookings with new customers - Customer Ratings including Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) - Objective and Subjective SKF has a rich history spanning over a century and is a global leader in providing bearings and solutions for rotating equipment.
