As a Senior Financial Data Advisor at SimCorp Datacare, you will play a crucial role in managing pricing and reference data for clients as a Managed Service. Working within the Datacare Advisory and change management service, you will collaborate with industry and data management experts to monitor industry, regulatory, and vendor feed changes that may affect client business operations. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing client onboarding, monitoring vendor changes, maintaining data standards, and coordinating change management activities by engaging with internal service teams from IT and Operations. Reporting directly to the head of the Data Advisory team, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations for SimCorp Datacare clients. Key Responsibilities: - Create and uphold data standards, data models, and data ontologies to establish relationships between data objects. - Document metadata information related to data models, interpretation, lineage, and utilization across key processes for internal and external stakeholders. - Monitor and evaluate vendor-related changes impacting SimCorp Datacare and Enterprise Data Manager clients. - Collaborate with internal service teams to prioritize and address standard and client change requests through the Change & Control Board (CCB) governance. - Develop and implement a robust client onboarding framework for efficient Datacare client onboarding. - Provide 3rd level support, advisory services, and quality assurance for data and change integrations. - Contribute to designing and maintaining data test concepts for ensuring data and service quality. - Support Datacare Operations in process improvement initiatives. - Advise clients on data requirements and usage for new needs. - Keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes within data management to drive best practices for SimCorp community clients. Your Qualifications: - Hold a relevant bachelor's degree in finance or engineering. - Possess experience in Change Management involving data vendor feeds like Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters, etc. - Demonstrate knowledge of financial products, markets, derivatives, and structured instruments. - Have expertise in requirements engineering, data modeling, and full SDLC approach. - Exhibit analytical skills, attention to detail, service-oriented mindset, and strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. - Experience in process management, control, and design is desirable but not mandatory.
