The SE team works closely with the Qentelli Leadership, Prospective Customers, Innovation, Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery, Product and Analyst firms to ensure that Prospects and customers:
The number one responsibility is the customer. The Solutions Engineer is the most customer-facing technical role in the Sales process. SE will interact closely with CEOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, product managers, solution architects, and developers.
The SE will work with all teams and will need to have a breadth and depth skill set, often referred to as T-shaped. Solution engineers will have diverse knowledge with one topic they are experts on, and the ability to dive deep into any other subject and figure it out.
As the Solutions Engineering team supports the entire organization, the activities vary widely. A typical set of activities would be:
Business and technical knowledge is an important asset. Every prospect is different Industry, Technology stack, implementation, frameworks etc. The SE will need to be able to understand whatever problems the customer has, sometimes without having the exact idea of how it works but knowing that we can solve it. An entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset is best for this position.
