The role will have ownership of developing economically viable / cost effective HVAC system design proposals (design, cost estimations & proposal making) both in tendered & Design & Build requirements.
The role will be responsible for SD planning, support, control of all solution development activities for the project business. This role will work closely with sales lead & team to deliver correct & On Time proposal s and technical support during the sales stage. It includes interface along with Customers & external consultant through field sales team. It means understanding the needs, evaluating the sytem design, identifying the value addition possibility and creating the suitable yet winning proposals as per planned BGM. The role will contribute significantly in establishing sales op system.
This role will lead solution development engineers / team and reporting to S&M GM and establish standard in colloberating with sales leader and his team. This role will establish SD as one of the core function in the company
Support on order booking (monthly/quarterly/annualy) @ targetted booked margings Zero estimation vs actual cost variance during project delivery (error free estimation) Faster & Quality proposal delivery Support winning & positioning proposal/ solution by teaming with the sales team Collecting all the relavant required data for creating a viable proposal Coceptualising, verifying, finding alternatives to create offers with viable solutions - technically & commercially Increasing the probabilities of order coversions through techno commercial value additions & ROIs when needed Exhibit differentiation in proposals/ Study of competative offers / proposals to address our gaps. Proposal planning and assigning of SD work to SD team/self Customer handling, tech support to sales lead/engineers - ontime & faster response to customers On-time/ indepth site surveys/ sales engineer's tech inputs or survey reviews for enhanced customer needs Business reviews & Internal reviews and ensure to provide timely data to Sales Ops Interacting with Vendors & develop relationships Bid / No Bid participation & contributions Team management, resource hiring, onboarding & ongoing developments Value based pricing Cash -flow working support Contribute significantly in establishing sales op system by ensuring weekly review decipline and data entries Proposal cycle time reductions and accuracy enhancement Standadising the technical elements & commercial (pricing- collabrate with peer leads) - Improve ontime perf. Continiously developing more detailed & widely applicable spec & cost for comparision through case studies for future validation & standardisation Develop new solution offering (learning of new solutions & emerging technologies) Vendor development support / colloborate with SCM Set up improved Solution Development operating system Continuous procedure improvements and data accuracy initiatives Training/coaching of the team - procedures, technical, best practices Culture: Work with HR for emp engagement/ teaming/ PMS
