Project Engineer - BLR & Chennai(HVAC)

Job Description

Project Engineer The role is responsible for achieving project execution on time through daily execution, short term planning (weekly) & implementation of project as per the project schedule, quality standards and safety norms for the assigned site. The role will be single point contact for the site for customer's and various stakeholders. The role will support billing through related activities such as DC/GRN/MIR/WIR etc & support payment collection The role will be responsible for strict adherence to customer safety policy and conduct of EHS policies and guidelines. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Role report to PM. The location for the position is at the respective project site. Taking permit to work with the customer Allot the work & material for all the crews as per plan & procedure, Receipt of new crews & materials as per procedure Update the progress of the day work in software through PBL/PM: Supervise the allotted work progress of day through daily walkthrough inspection. Ensure work quality standards. Ensure site safety is maintained. Promote EHS as per guidelines. Prepare and send the Materials requisition/indents Fill up GRN/DC in METS only, MIR, Rejection report & get customer authorization Get the approval of WIR of completed works from customer & submit to Procurement Engineer every week Running Annexure & invoices certification for payments, payment follow-up Change request form need to be prepared and taken sign from customer, as on when required. Sending Daily report to PM ROLE ELEMENT Proper maintenance of Store with segregations & stock taking of excess materials if any for immediate disposal or diversions with approvals, Certification of contractor bills Statutory compliances at site Co-ordination/ communication management among all stakeholders/people involved at the project site. All documentations properly maintained including customer communications, sign-offs, technical etc. Working to improve customer satisfaction, problem resolutions, timely escalation to PM Target orientation towards daily completion of work Interpersonal / intrapersonal (Influencing, persuation), co-ordination, networking Communication -verbal Key Capabilities Maintaing good relationship with site management team and contractors Problem solving skills Engineering Graduate 3-4 Years of experience / DME with 4-10 years experience in mechanical, HVAC Execution, project Management Qualification , Knowledge Receptiveness to pressure taking and not buckle Maintaing good relationship with site management team and contractors Exhibit patience Enviornmental factors UPSPL culture Work ethics Location / Travel Flexibilty to Travel
