SOLUTION CONSULTANT

Role Overview: At Belden, as a Solution Consultant (SC) in the Technical Solutions & Services Team, you will be responsible for developing Infrastructure Solutions for Data Acquisition and Transmission in both Industrial and Enterprise Environments. You will collaborate with colleagues globally to define Customer Challenges, IT/OT Network Infrastructure Requirements, and co-create Solution Design Specifications (SDS) with clients. Your role will involve conducting Proof-of-Concept (PoC) demonstrations at customer sites or Belden's Customer Innovation Center Validation Labs, advising Commercial Operations and PMO Teams, and serving as a technical partner for other business functions. Your technical expertise and experience in developing Infrastructure Solutions will establish Belden as a trusted solution provider. Key Responsibilities: - Navigate Customer Challenges and Build Solutions through virtual collaboration and remote engagement - Define and Develop Infrastructure Requirements, Originate Designs, Build BOM, SLD & Logical Network Hierarchy using remote tools - Lead the development of solutions utilizing a One Belden approach, incorporating third party products as necessary through virtual coordination - Partner with TSS counterparts to translate customer requirements into compelling technical solutions with financial value impact through remote collaboration - Conduct POCs using remote lab resources and virtual demonstration tools - Provide successful transition from Design Acceptance / POC to Execution Phase with CommOps and PMO Functions through remote handoff processes - Support technical sales and solutions for customer applications by providing technical leadership through digital communication platforms - Maintain competence with ALL Belden DAT products through ongoing remote training and virtual product updates - Provide technical content for marketing materials and collaterals developed remotely - Maintain customer reporting, designs, and artifacts using prescribed remote-accessible tools and systems - Provide market feedback to product management teams to drive product development through virtual meetings Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field - 5+ years of consultative experience in industrial or enterprise environments with expertise in OT/IT Infrastructure design - Strong technical knowledge of network communication systems and related applications - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical solutions into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders - RCDD, CCTT, CDCP or other Industrial or OT Certifications Preferred - Fluent in English to business standard - Able to work on rotation including night shifts Company Overview: Join Belden's global community dedicated to improving connectivity and security.
