Skillset : SAP SD Experience : 10 20 Years Job Location : Any NDBS Location Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Solution Head to strengthen our Shoring capabilities in India. This strategic role focuses on leading the presales and solutioning function, supporting global projects across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and a proven record of building and leading high-performing solutioning teams. You will be responsible for driving proposal development, crafting innovative and scalable solutions, working closely with global sales and delivery teams, and ensuring that the India shoring team becomes a trusted engine to deliver high-quality support for our global markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and manage the Shoring Presales & Solutioning team in India to support global proposals and RFPs.
- Architect high-quality solutions across SAP modules, and integrate cross-module expertise when required.
- Partner with global sales, account management, and delivery teams to shape winning strategies for client pursuits.
- Design and review technical and functional solutions, project sizing, estimations, and resource planning.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and scalability in all proposals and solutions delivered by the India Shoring team.
- Develop and implement best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets to accelerate presales and solutioning processes.
- Mentor and grow a team of solution architects, presales consultants, and proposal managers.
- Drive internal initiatives to continually upgrade the skillsets of the shoring team aligned with market needs and emerging technologies.
- Represent India's shoring capability in global leadership forums and customer-facing discussions as required. Prior Experience:
- 5+ years specifically in leading presales or solutioning teams in a shoring/offshore model supporting North America, Europe, or APAC regions.
- Strong track record in managing end-to-end proposal cycles including RFP/RFI responses, client solution workshops, and orals.
- Hands-on experience in building solution frameworks, cost models, and staffing strategies for large and mid-sized SAP transformation deals.
- Experience working in a multi-country delivery setup involving cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Previous involvement in solutioning for new-age SAP offerings like S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or cloud transformations would be an advantage. Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- 1218 years of experience in SAP presales, solutioning, and delivery; with strong exposure to SAP SD module (certification preferred).
- Proven experience in leading presales teams or solutioning functions in a shoring/offshore delivery model.
- Strong understanding of business processes across industries like Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, Life Sciences, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across time zones and manage a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach when required
