Job Title: Solutions Architect with Presales

Location: Bangalore, Noida, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai,

Mode: All 5 Days Onsite ( Client FTE direct)

Role: Senior Principal Consultant (Solutions Architect – Data Engineering & Cloud Platforms)

In this role, the Solutions Architect is responsible for delivering technical solutions during the pre-sales phase, particularly in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

The Solutions Architect’s responsibilities include designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions during the pre-sales and implementation phases. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, propose technical architectures, estimate effort, and guide delivery teams. This role demands deep expertise in modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical solutioning for pre-sales engagements, including RFP responses and client presentations.
• Architect and design end-to-end data solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements using platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud services on AWS or Azure.
• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts.
• Evangelize re-use through the implementation of shared assets.
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Proactively guide engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Conduct technical assessments, gap analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Provide accurate effort estimation, resource planning, and risk identification.
• Define best practices for data architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams during project execution.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key Skills:

• Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, Azure Data Lake, Synapse).
• Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Data Engineering: Proficiency in ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data warehousing, and real-time data processing.
• Programming Languages: Strong skills in Python, SQL, and optionally Scala or Java.
• Able to create POCs, roadmaps, solution architecture, estimations & implementation plan
• DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with Terraform, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security & Governance: Knowledge of data privacy, access control, and compliance frameworks.
• Solutioning & Pre-sales Expertise: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Effort Estimation & Planning: Experience in sizing projects, estimating timelines, and resource needs.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior architects or engineers. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.Problem Solving & Innovation: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.
• Documentation & Standards: Ability to create high-quality architecture documents, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Minimum qualifications

• B.E./ Masters in Computer Science, Information technology, or Computer engineering or any equivalent degree with good IT experience and strong experience as a Snowflake Architect
