Role Summary:

The Solution Architect is responsible for shaping innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions for clients by collaborating with sales, bid management, and delivery teams.

The role requires expertise in designing solutions for application modernization, custom application development, eServices, enterprise application integration, mobile applications, and digital workplace transformations.

Job Specifications

Educational Background:

• Masters or Undergraduate degree from a premier institute

Language Requirement:

• English and/or Arabic

Experience:

• 1215 years of IT experience
• Minimum 812 years in a solution architect or pre-sales architect role

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical:

• Strong knowledge of

  Microsoft (.NET, SharePoint), Java, and IBM

  stack technologies
• Cross-platform mobile development (Flutter, React Native, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure cloud-native

  services,

  DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD implementations

• Experience

  integrating with enterprise

  applications
• Awareness of

  AI/ML

  use cases in web and portal ecosystems
• Proven experience in solutioning for

  RFPs/RFIs

  , proposal writing, effort estimation, and client presentations

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic:

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, influencing solution strategy and strengthening market positioning
• Translate client needs into innovative, scalable, and cost-effective architectures that drive business growth
• Align technical solutions with business outcomes, ensuring proposals address modernization, agility, and cost optimization
• Introduce emerging technologies (AI, low-code platforms, cloud-native architectures) to differentiate solutions and deliver measurable value
• Collaborate with delivery teams to validate feasibility, scalability, and sustainability, minimizing execution risk

Operational:

1. Develop solution blueprints, technical write-ups, effort estimates, and cost models for RFP/RFI responses within agreed timelines
2. Design end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, integrations, cloud services, and mobile platforms, ensuring scalability and security
3. Collaborate with delivery leads to validate assumptions, resource needs, and implementation feasibility before commitments
4. Stay updated on emerging technologies, competitor offerings, and industry trends, and incorporate them into solution recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification
• TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks
• Knowledge of GCC enterprise IT landscape and customer expectations
• Experience with government/public sector digital transformation projects (preferred)
