Solution Architect - Java / J2EE

As a Solution Architect at our company, your role involves developing effective IT solutions tailored to meet customer needs and constraints. You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of designs across various parameters such as performance, security, usability, and scalability. Your innovative mindset and ability to solve complex problems independently will be key in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop optimized IT solutions that address customer requirements - Ensure the robustness of designs across functional and non-functional parameters - Proactively create reusable frameworks and assets to enhance the competitive advantage of solutions - Analyze industry standard products and technologies, and provide recommendations - Act as a subject matter expert for sales leads, bid requests, and new opportunities - Present designs/solutions to customers and influence them to win bids/opportunities - Share experience, knowledge, and best practices within the organization Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of IT experience - Proficiency in designing and architecting large scale distributed systems, preferably in the Airline, Travel, or Hospitality domain - Sound knowledge of architecture and design patterns - Deep understanding of latest technologies and tools including big data analytics, cloud, and mobility - Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills with experience in requirement management, sizing, and solutioning - Ability to understand, interpret, and influence client needs, requirements, expectations, and behavior - Experience in full project/product development cycle and supporting applications in a production environment Please note that the company is in the IT/Computers-Software industry and the role of Solution Architect requires skills in Solution Designing, Java, J2EE, Big Data, Airline, Aviation, Travel, Logistics, Architecture and Designing, and OOAD.
