Solution Architect

Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant / Solution Architect Storage & Content Technologies Job Summary: We are looking for a client-facing Technical Consultant or Solution Architect with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. You will act as a key advisor to both internal and customer technical teams, providing expert guidance on system architecture, implementation techniques, troubleshooting, and solution development. This role requires active engagement in architectural planning, change management, and team coordination, while also contributing to client growth opportunities through technical insight and solution proposals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Architecture & Design: Define and maintain configuration standards. Develop and enhance operational frameworks and technical processes. 2. Change Management: Validate change plans submitted by technical teams. Participate as a reviewer and approver in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. Ensure quality and compliance during implementation phases. 3. Technical Leadership: Lead global initiatives and manage distributed technical teams. Drive task delegation and ensure timely project delivery. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents and technical issues. 4. Subject Matter Expertise: Provide high-level technical troubleshooting during system outages or escalations. Collaborate with engineering/development teams for product enhancement requests. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for internal technical staff. Technical Requirements: In-depth knowledge of Hitachi File & Content solutions , especially HNAS and HCP . Familiarity with NetApp, HDI, HCI, HCP AW, and HCP SfC is a plus. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including IPv4/IPv6, routing, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers . Experience with Windows and Unix clients using CIFS/SMB (v1-3) and NFS (v2-4) . Proficient in access control and permission models: NTFS, POSIX, share-level permissions, SACL , etc. Hands-on experience with data migration (CIFS/NFS). Basic knowledge of block storage : RAID groups, LUN creation/mapping, replication, etc. Skilled in handling and troubleshooting high-severity incidents . Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) is a bonus. Strong communication and client management skills; able to work well under pressure. Experience in managing technical projects, teams, and deliverables. Proficient in documenting technical processes, design documents, and training material. Passionate about mentoring and sharing knowledge with peers. Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
