Job Description

Job Title: Solar Technical Engineer
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the Solar Industry

Key Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and oversee solar PV systems (rooftop & ground-mounted)
Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and load calculations
Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and BOQs
Handle system sizing, inverter selection, cable sizing, and protection systems
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety codes, and industry best practices
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients during installation & commissioning
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of solar PV systems
Support in tender preparation, technical documentation, and project proposals
Stay updated with latest solar technologies, grid policies, and regulatory requirements

Skills Required :

Strong knowledge of PV system design and electrical engineering principles
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar design tools
Knowledge of grid integration, net metering, and electrical safety standards
Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and coordination skills
