As a Solar Structure Design Engineer joining our renewable energy team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing structural systems for solar installations to ensure safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness in various environments. Key Responsibilities: - Develop designs for solar mounting structures including rooftop, ground-mounted, carports, and trackers. - Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials. - Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and international guidelines (IEC, IS, ASCE, etc.). - Collaborate with electrical engineers, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate structural designs into overall solar projects. - Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and installation phases. - Research new materials and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Optimize designs for easy installation and long-term reliability. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred). - 3-7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects. - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla) and structural analysis tools (STAAD.Pro, ANSYS). - Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and renewable energy systems. - Familiarity with international codes and standards for structural safety.
