Software Tester

Job Description

Ø Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Ø Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Ø Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Ø Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Ø Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Ø Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Ø Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Ø Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements Ø Monitor debugging process results Ø Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions Ø Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Ø Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Requirements : Experience - 1-2 years Ø Proven work experience in software development Ø Proven work experience in software quality assurance Ø Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Ø Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Ø Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing Ø Hands-on experience with automated testing tools Ø Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting Ø Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Ø Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
