Job Description: As a Software Tester, you will collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure the delivered products meet high standards. This role is suitable for individuals with prior testing experience looking to re-enter the workforce. Key Responsibilities: - Review functional and design specifications to grasp testing requirements - Create, update, and execute test cases/test scripts (manual and/or automated) - Conduct various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, usability, etc.) - Identify, document, prioritize, and monitor defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla - Work with stakeholders to replicate issues and validate fixes - Verify bug resolutions to prevent regressions - Generate test reports, metrics, and documentation - Contribute to enhancing the QA process, including test planning and automation - Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and release deployments when needed Required Skills/Qualifications: - 0 to 3 years of software testing experience (internship, training, freelancing included) - Fundamental understanding of SDLC and STLC - Knowledge of manual testing techniques like boundary cases and negative testing - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about learning - Exposure to testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, Appium, or Cypress is beneficial - Any testing/QA certification like ISTQB is a plus Preferred/Desirable: - Exposure to automation scripts - Basic scripting/programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI - Experience in testing web/mobile/APIs Benefits: - Remote work option Please note that the job type is full-time and permanent.
