Job Summary:

Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  
• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  
• Perform manual and/or automated testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications.
  
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  
• Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing as needed.
  
• Contribute to test automation scripts and frameworks (if applicable).
  
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that defects are properly tracked and resolved.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
  
• Help maintain QA documentation and continuously improve testing processes.
